If you are in the market for a new air conditioning system then the choice and different types of units can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. However, the big advantage that this has is that there will be a suitable air con unit out there for you; it is just a matter of choosing the right one.

If you are looking for large scale, almost industrial sized air conditioning systems that can be used for offices etc… then the cassette range is probably your best bet. These are well designed to provide a constant and steady air flow for a long period of time and can accommodate up to 16 units all linked up to the same control pad. They can be great if you have a large building or buildings to keep cool during the summer and the fact that they barely make any noise means that they won’t disturb anyone that is working in the same vicinity as them.

If you want something that is more discreet and is designed for your home then wall mounted units and floor-ceiling units are both good options. These can fit in virtually any room in the house without looking out of place and provide a nice, fresh flow of air into the room without being too powerful or distracting. They can also be linked up to one control system as well meaning that you won’t have to go around each one and turn it on. If even these are out of your price range then there are cheap aircon units available, namely the portable range. These are obviously far smaller than the other ones talked about here however they do have the added benefit of being able to be moved around from room to room although they won’t give out fresh air.
