Comments & Ratings about this product
I just finished watching all the episodes of this short but funny series. It stars Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha (Ginger from "Chicken Run"), June Whitfield, and Jane Horrocks. This unlikely but lovable cast provided some great moments. The earlier episodes of Ab Fab weren't as funny as the later ones where the series really found its stride. One standout episode is when Patsy accidentally sets the house on fire with a cigarette in her mouth and still manages to survive. However, like all comedies, the series went on for too long, causing some jokes to be repeated or lose their hilarity over time. Overall, it's still a great comedy that will tickle your funny bone.
This show is absolutely hilarious! Every episode had me laughing so hard, I couldn't help but fear for my sobriety. It's such a blast to see these two women, Saunders and Lumley, embracing the freedom of the 60s through smoking, drinking, doing drugs, and engaging in all sorts of wild antics. They may be stuck in the past, but that's what makes it so entertaining. One of my favorite episodes is when they end up drunk and stranded on a garbage barge floating down the Thames - only Jennifer and Joanna could have pulled off something like that so brilliantly. And let's not forget about Saffie's baby by an aid worker who becomes Edina's latest accessory (I won't spoil it any further). This series is truly fantastic. Oh, I almost forgot - make sure to watch the episode where Saffron has to fly to France to rescue her mother and Patsy from their own incompetence. Trust me, you'll have a blast with this series!
