The case is a good fit in terms of length and width/depth, although it may be slightly too high. However, adding some foam on top of the drive keeps it securely in place. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase as the drive offers excellent value for its price. As an update, I have been using this drive frequently for several weeks now and it has never failed to be recognized by my laptop. Additionally, it has successfully read every CD without any issues (I only connect it to my laptop when necessary).
