Bosch Styline TAT8611GB White Stainless Steel 2-Slot Toaster with Variable Controls and Autoheat Function

I recently discovered this manufacturer and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. I have purchased multiple appliances from them for my new home and they not only look fantastic but also perform exceptionally well. The slight increase in price is definitely worth it.

My trusty toaster recently stopped working after faithfully making me toast for 11 years. I was initially overwhelmed by the options available, but ultimately chose this one because it has a unique heating element. I am pleased to report that this toaster works exceptionally well - it evenly toasts bread and can accommodate various types of loaves without leaving any untoasted ends. The slots are also wide enough to comfortably fit bagels and hot cross buns. However, there are a couple of downsides: there is no lift function to check on the progress while toasting, and the high lift feature is not as high as expected.

The toaster efficiently performs its function and has an attractive appearance. However, I am not fond of the stainless steel parts as they resemble plastic. Additionally, it features a power on-off button which feels outdated and lacks an automatic power-off function. While this may seem like a minor detail, it would have been better if it had been designed more thoughtfully.
