I personally own both sets, and visually, this collection is much more appealing than the USA Flickr Alley version. The music by Carl Davis in these films is significantly superior to the out of sync compilations on Flickr Alleys' release. However, what truly sets this set apart is that it includes all the footage from the flickr alley version.
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these restored films. The picture is sharp, the sound is excellent, and the music is impressive. It's a significant improvement compared to a previous release with an annoying piano soundtrack that didn't match the scenes. I have seen many modern movies on Blu Ray that were poorly transferred in HD, but considering these films are almost a century old, I must commend the people involved in this restoration. Well done! I highly recommend them.
I haven't watched all of them, but the ones I have seen are absolutely brilliant. The film remastering is outstanding, especially considering the age of the prints. I highly recommend purchasing this to anyone who is unsure.
