Comments & Ratings about this product
This comment discusses the content of a DVD set for seasons 1 to 14 of Family Guy. The commenter mentions that they had the original releases before purchasing this set, which was priced at £50. They note that all the discs in this set are identical to the original releases, meaning that seasons 1-2 may not have commentary tracks or bonus features. However, starting from season 4, each season includes extras and commentaries. The commenter finds it fantastic for the price and believes that the unseen content makes it worth it, although it may be a bit jarring at first.
Revised: This comment provides insights into a DVD set containing seasons 1 to 14 of Family Guy. The commenter shares their previous ownership of the individual DVDs and highlights how this comprehensive set is cost-effective compared to catching up with individual purchases. They mention that while seasons 1-2 lack commentary tracks and bonus features like the original releases, subsequent seasons offer extras and commentaries. Overall, they find this collection excellent value for money due to its inclusion of exclusive content not seen on TV, despite some initial adjustment required.
I absolutely love Family Guy, it's a brilliant show. However, I do have a couple of concerns regarding the packaging. The boxes containing the DVDs are not very well-made and it can be difficult to properly close the clasp. Additionally, even though it claims to include complete seasons, I was disappointed to find that three episodes (S6 E1, S8 E20, and S9 E18) were missing. These episodes happen to be part of the Star Wars trilogy which are some of the best episodes in Family Guy.
