The delivery was incredibly fast, just as expected. The item comes in an attractive outer box, although it doesn't serve any purpose. The DVDs are securely held in a well-designed case. Despite the age of the series, the video quality is surprisingly good. Hi De Hi is just as enjoyable as I remember it to be. Perry and Croft's wonderful style shines through, creating fabulous TV with characters that we genuinely care about. Hi De Hi showcases Perry and Croft at their best, with fantastic characterisation and hilarious moments. Overall, it's superb.
This comment is about a funny and nostalgic parody of the popular Butlins holiday camps in Britain. These camps were especially popular in post-World War Two financially difficult times. Butlins offered highly organized entertainment for the masses, resembling the structure of Nazi concentration camps with their wake up calls, instructions, forced cheerfulness, and structured activities.
