Comments & Ratings about this product
As my first venture into the world of Anime, after growing up with Pokémon, this series was a refreshing change. The acting is great and the plot embraces its ridiculousness while still delivering powerful messages. It's one of the best anime experiences I've had and I often find myself revisiting it. The characters, including the side ones, are all memorable in their own unique ways. The dub is filled with references, just like the original manga. With Studio Madhouse behind the action, you can't go wrong - it's probably their best series to date. The choreography and cinematography rival that of Eastern Martial Arts Movies. A slight downside is that the OVA is only available in Japanese, but it's still enjoyable. It's a shame that the series was never properly concluded, but it remains a blast even to this day.
