While some may argue that the series declined in quality after the second entry, transitioning from a gritty noir to a buddy action comedy with Joe Pesci's character taking center stage and Roger becoming the target of jokes, there are still many enjoyable aspects. Personally, I have a strong fondness for Lethal Weapon 3 and even 4. In my opinion, the series didn't just jump the shark - it was completely devoured by it. This set is priced fantastically and each film comes in its own case with original artwork. It is definitely a must-have for fans of action movies.
This package offers a great collection of the classic Lethal Weapon films. The only downside, in my opinion, is that it does not include the extended cuts of 1 & 2 that were available on DVD.
Unfortunately, the first version of this film is not the director's cut, which is disappointing because it lacks the schoolyard scene.
