I purchased these units to replace inexpensive HDMI over CAT6 extenders that I was previously using. The cheap extenders had difficulty transmitting the output from a CCTV NVR in one room to a wall-mounted screen in another office, despite having new CAT6 wiring in the building. However, these units had no such issues and performed well. As mentioned in the product description, there are slight jpeg compression artifacts visible in certain areas of the picture where the camera is focused on gray paving stones. Nonetheless, overall picture quality is satisfactory. Additionally, the ability to multicast to multiple receivers will be beneficial as I now need to set up a second display in another office.
