Marvel's Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Season 3 [DVD] [2016]

The third season of "Agents of SHIELD" is highly entertaining, with a satisfying conclusion to the SHIELD vs Grant Ward story arc. The show also provides a quirky and fun explanation for the origins of the Hydra organization. The special effects are impressive, and the script and acting maintain credibility within a comic book context. On the Blu Ray, viewers can expect sharp and consistent image quality, as well as clear audio. The menus on the discs are user-friendly, although each episode has only a few chapter breaks. However, the Blu Ray set disappoints in terms of its "explosive extras," which consist only of a brief blooper reel and some inconsequential deleted scenes. Unfortunately, there is no behind-the-scenes footage or commentaries included.
