Comments & Ratings about this product
Ever since I saw this movie in the cinema, I have absolutely loved it. As a huge fan of Oliver Stone and Quentin Tarantino, it couldn't get any better than this. With Quentin writing the script and Mr. Stone directing superbly, this film takes you on a mind-bending journey as Mickey and Mallory (played by Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis) go on a killing spree across the US, while a journalist (Robert Downey Jr.) tries to profit from their actions. Despite being criticized upon its release for supposedly glorifying violence (a term often overused in today's cinema), and even disliked by Tarantino himself due to Stone's artistic direction deviating from his screenplay, this movie is truly a defining moment in both Harrelson and Lewis's careers.
Typically, I can appreciate various aspects of most films, but this particular movie is an absolute disaster. The constant switching between black and white and color is confusing, the plot lacks coherence, and I am genuinely puzzled as to why Tommy Lee Jones agreed to be a part of it. I strongly advise avoiding this film at all costs!
