Comments & Ratings about this product
Are these speakers top-notch? No, they are not. Do not expect them to perform like high-end HiFi speakers with a subwoofer. However, as computer speakers, they are excellent. Surprisingly impressive, in fact. They provide clear and audible sound that is good enough to get the job done. It's important to note that there are cheaper imitation speakers out there that look identical but are unbranded – do not purchase those. I made the mistake of buying them only to find out that the speakers were of poor quality with a silver dome that was just a sticker. So please be cautious when making your decision.
These speakers are suitable for my needs as I only required inexpensive USB-powered speakers for a side project. However, please note that they have a power output of 3W instead of the advertised 4W. The sound quality is comparable to an Echo Dot or built-in laptop speakers, as shown in the image.
I didn't have high expectations for the price of £6, but the sound quality and volume are decent. However, I noticed that these speakers have poor shielding on their cables, resulting in a lot of interference from surrounding cables. I tried adding ferrite cores to both the speaker cables and any nearby PC cables, but it didn't help. It may vary for others, but personally, I think investing in a more expensive pair of speakers with proper cable shielding would be worth it.
