Comments & Ratings about this product
I'm hesitant about my review of this book. After finishing it, I feel the need to read it again to determine if it was actually good or not. In fact, I would even need to implement some projects and assess how relevant the material is to their success.
At times, I found myself questioning the purpose or significance of what I was reading. While there are interesting discussions and numerous examples provided, sometimes the examples disrupted the flow of the content.
Additionally, some of the illustrations were too small for my liking. It would have been beneficial to have larger pictures and examples included. For instance, there is one image on page 214 that supposedly deserves a (c) All Rights Reserved statement - but it was so tiny that its importance was lost.
Although the book's style can be overly cute at times, its content is excellent. User Story Mapping is a straightforward concept that yields great results. We found this approach to be helpful in organizing our release planning and story generation sessions. Additionally, the book provides valuable insights into the principles behind User Stories and their effectiveness.
