Comments & Ratings about this product
I recently purchased this album on 180g vinyl and was pleasantly surprised by the next day delivery. Not only did it arrive quickly, but it also included two additional records with alternate versions of the songs. The quality of the vinyl was impeccable, making it well worth the money spent. In my opinion, this is their best album to date. If you're a fan of The Who, I highly recommend adding this gem to your collection.
I just received and listened to this CD, which arrived promptly and in excellent condition. There are no fillers on the album; every song is tremendous. Even after the high point of "Won't Get Fooled Again," the quality is consistently great until the very last note of the final song. This album is a wonderful contribution from a remarkable band in their prime. It's also reassuring to see that it compares favorably to other landmark albums in rock history, such as "Tommy," "Quadrophenia," "Who Are You," and "Who's Next." The Who has an impressive back catalog that stretches back many years, even before the Beatles started out. In short, this album is a must-have for anyone who loves brilliant hard rock music. Quality like this never goes out of style!
This old album with the original band before Keith Moon's tragic death features some amazing songs. Even today, tracks like "Won't Get Fooled Again" continue to be played, despite the additional loss of John Entwistle. Although only Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey remain from the original lineup, this album showcases some of their best work.
