Two Can Keep a Secret

Karen M. McManus's latest novel, You'll Be the Death of Me, is a gripping mystery set in the seemingly perfect town of Echo Ridge. The story follows Ellery, who moves to Echo Ridge to live with her estranged grandmother after her mother enters rehab. Ellery quickly learns that the town has a dark history, including the disappearance of her aunt and the murder of a Homecoming Queen five years prior. As another girl goes missing, Ellery teams up with Malcolm, whose older brother was the prime suspect in the previous murder case. Together, they uncover layers of secrets hidden within the town, as they race to prevent another tragedy from occurring. McManus's writing is sharp and believable, making this whodunit an utterly irresistible read.
