This Christmas, we decided to learn how to fly fish and thought it would be interesting to see it portrayed in a story. The film has a pleasant storyline with a bittersweet ending. It's one of Brad Pitt's earlier roles, and you can see his growth as an actor throughout his career. His cheeky smile, which is often seen in later roles, is also present here. Overall, we found the movie enjoyable.

The well-acted and directed story is complemented by the beautiful scenery of Montana. The recreation of fly fishing in this setting helps to explain the fascination that forms the bond between father and sons.
