I'm a new fan of this band and I absolutely love the music they've created. Despite being late to the party, I recently purchased five of their albums. The songs "A Star Crossed Wasteland" and "The Road" are particularly impressive, showcasing the band's incredible range and abilities.
I'm not a huge fan of the band, but they do have their moments. While I appreciate Maria's technically fine screams, they're not really my cup of tea. However, I do enjoy her singing voice, which usually has a husky tone and can be sweet at times. Throughout the album, there is a heavy emphasis on screaming vocals, although it does shift more towards singing towards the end. The overall sound of this album reminds me slightly of Five Finger Death Punch, possibly due to the production style. There are some decent songs on here that stand out to me. My personal favorite is "The Last Cowboy," which features spoken verses and an engaging chorus. Additionally, there's a duet called "The Promise" and a heartfelt ballad titled "World In Flames." As I continued to listen to the album, it did grow on me over time; however, ultimately it falls into the category of being a fairly generic metal album.
