The Microchip Adaptec HBA 1100-4i Single is a powerful Host Bus Adapter (HBA) designed for use in servers and workstations. It offers high transmission speeds of up to 12 Gbit/s over four channels connected to a PCI-Express x8 slot. The HBA supports both SATA3 and SAS3 and has a single port on the data connection side B (SFF-8643). The device is available in two form factors: Low-Profile and Full-Height. It does not support RAID functions, but provides high performance for your applications.
