This was our third Echo device. The speaker is not as powerful as the standard Echo, but it still works well for voice commands and radio. As much as I like the ecosystem of its main rival, the Echo Dot looks much better. I have this is my studio and I use it to interact with several projects based on Raspberry Pi. I think it works well in smaller rooms where space is a bit more limited.

I love this echo point that I've wanted for almost a year, but I postponed it, since the price I thought was not worth it, but I finally had to try one and got one while on sale for £ 34.99. I'm so glad I did it. I originally ordered this to test the water, but it was on hold. Being the impatient guy, I decided on the Echo and then, finding that fun, I decided not to cancel the Dot order. I thought it would be useful for use in my studio since my DAB radio was working. However, I think the sound is disappointing when compared to the echo. It's better with a Bluetooth speaker that I had but less comfortable to use that way. I have a VAUX speaker / battery in order, hoping it's better sound and more portable. Learning what Alexa can do is fascinating.

It worked very well for about 3 weeks. Now it has stopped synchronizing with my sonos system and will not play unless I upgrade to unlimited music. Too bad, I was also enjoying it

I had the Echo as a birthday present, and I was a bit skeptical about Alexa, because I do not have a great relationship with Siri (a bit rude). I changed the name of the answer to Echo instead of keeping it to Alexa because it is less effort to say. Anyway, once I understood the skills (applications), absolutely Love Echo- Every home should have one! I subscribe to unlimited music (highly recommended) for Echo to play the music I want, and I sleep incredibly well with the skills of ocean sounds played at night. I plan to get a couple more points for the kitchen and the bedroom, save me by hooking me up in a different room when I go up / down. If you are considering buying an Echo, do it, you will not regret it!

The format is good and the voice control is amazing, I have a strange accent and I can understand it, so there should be no problems for others. The configuration was incredibly easy and once we were connected to the wifi broadband service, we were already working. I love my Echo Dot bought for me at Christmas. It is versatile and easy to use.
