Antec NSK3100 Micro ATX Midi‑Tower Case
The Antec NSK3100 is a compact yet feature‑rich Micro‑ATX midi‑tower chassis designed for enthusiasts who demand performance without the bulk of a full‑size tower. With its matte black finish, sturdy construction, and thoughtful layout, this case delivers an excellent balance between aesthetics, expandability, and thermal efficiency.
Form Factor & Dimensions
The NSK3100 is built around the Mini Tower form factor, measuring 180 mm (W) × 411 mm (H) × 360 mm (D). Its slim profile—only 0.7 mm thick panels—provides a sleek look while maintaining structural integrity thanks to a combination of plastic, SECC, SGCC, and steel materials.
Motherboard Compatibility
This chassis supports both Micro‑ATX and Mini‑ITX motherboards. The internal layout is optimized for these board sizes, offering ample space for power delivery components and cable management without compromising airflow.
Drive Bays & Expansion Slots
- 1 × 2.5″ internal drive bay (for SSDs)
- 2 × 3.5″ internal drive bays (for HDDs or additional SSDs)
- 2 × 5.25″ external bays (for optical drives or other peripherals)
- 4 expansion slots for PCIe cards, allowing room for GPUs, sound cards, and more.
Cooling & Fan Support
The NSK3100 is designed with thermal performance in mind. It supports:
- 1 × 80 mm front fan slot (maximum of one fan)
- 1 × 92 mm rear fan slot, which comes pre‑installed with a single 92 mm fan
- Optional additional cooling solutions such as liquid cooling radiators, thanks to dedicated mounting points.
The case’s Thermally Advantaged Chassis (TAC) design ensures efficient heat dissipation, keeping components cool even under load.
Front I/O & Audio
At the front panel, users find:
- 2 × USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type‑A ports, providing high‑speed data transfer for external devices.
- 1 × headphone out jack
- 1 × microphone in jack
The case also includes a built‑in audio header, allowing easy connection of motherboard audio outputs.
Power Supply Placement
Unlike many compact cases that place the PSU at the bottom, the NSK3100 positions the power supply unit (PSU) on the top side. This layout frees up space in the rear for cable routing and can improve airflow by keeping cables out of the main exhaust path.
Build Quality & Materials
The chassis combines lightweight yet durable materials:
- Plastic panels reduce weight to approximately 6.8 kg.
- Steel reinforcement in key structural areas enhances rigidity.
- SECC and SGCC components provide corrosion resistance and a premium feel.
Thermal Management Features
The NSK3100 incorporates several thermal management strategies:
- Dedicated airflow paths for front-to-rear ventilation.
- Support for up to one rear fan, ensuring efficient exhaust of hot air.
- Optional radiator mounting points for liquid cooling setups, allowing users to install a 120 mm or larger radiator if desired.

I made a mistake assuming that the case had a power supply based on the picture. Additionally, it does not have a standard USB front panel connector but rather a large and unfamiliar connector. Unfortunately, my new motherboard does not support this type of connection. Overall, it was not a good purchase but I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. Antec, you have disappointed me and I do not recommend this product.
This PC enclosure is the perfect replacement for my wife's old one. It is well-designed, durable, and offers excellent value for its price.
