Despite the negative reception from many, I personally adored this film and felt compelled to own it on Blu Ray. In my opinion, the story was incredibly innovative and ahead of its time.
Initially, I wasn't a big fan of this film. However, upon rewatching it recently, I must confess that although it's still not my favorite, it is far better than I initially believed. Admittedly, during its original release, I was going through a phase where I had negative feelings towards Disney.
As a lifelong fan of Disney Animated movies, I have always had a deep appreciation for their magic. Even at 74 years old, I still find joy in watching animated films. This particular movie is no different - it lives up to the high standards we have come to expect from Walt Disney studios. The visual and audio quality of this transfer is truly outstanding. The story itself is a captivating fantasy adventure that deserves multiple viewings. To reveal too much would take away from the enjoyment, so all I can say is if you love Disney movies like I do, then this one is definitely worth purchasing.
