This case is extremely quiet, but the cable management is poor. If you have a large CPU cooler like the be quiet dark rock pro 4, make sure to connect the CPU cable to the motherboard before installing the cooler. Otherwise, it may be difficult to plug in due to limited space. The only solution for better cable management is to use a micro ATX or mini ITX board. With an ATX board, most of the cable management holes are blocked and you would need to use cable extensions. In summary, if you don't mind messy cables, this case offers excellent noise reduction. However, if cable management is important to you, I recommend considering other options.
Firstly, the case is surprisingly quiet. I'm not sure if it's due to the included quiet case fans or other factors, but regardless, its quietness is definitely a positive aspect.
However, the cable management in this case is a complete mess. The rubber grommets that are supposed to protect and secure the cables are of poor quality and too soft, causing them to constantly come loose.
Additionally, the placement and design of the HDD bay is problematic as it causes the SATA and power cables to push against the glass viewing window. This design flaw seems odd considering that the case itself is quite spacious; it appears to be poorly thought out.
Furthermore, there are some strange 2.5" bays on the other side of the case that are too shallow for standard laptop-sized SSDs. This lack of depth makes them useless for accommodating these common SSD sizes.
Overall, while the build quality of this case may be acceptable given its price point of £75, there are several glaring issues with its design and functionality that should be addressed.
The case is well-constructed and sturdy, with a spacious window that allows for easy viewing of components. It provides ample room to accommodate all my fans, which are the be quiet pure wings 2 model (consisting of four 120 mm fans running at 1500 rpm and two 140 mm fans running at 900 rpm). The noise level remains low, as the fans operate between 40% and 70% speed.
