I can only give "Clannad" three stars because, in my opinion, it lacks a true underlying storyline. While it is similar to the best anime of this genre, "Kanon," that's where the similarities end. The series feels disjointed with only some episodes linking together. Additionally, the emotional drama falls short compared to "Kanon." However, I did enjoy the characters and occasional humor throughout the series. Overall, it is a nice but bland show that didn't live up to its promises. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to watching and reviewing "Clannad After Story."
Absolutely timeless. While it may have a slightly slow start, the show progressively improves and becomes truly captivating. The artwork is incredibly beautiful and the overall experience feels somewhat enchanting.
I recently watched this series on YouTube and absolutely loved it. As a big anime fan, I decided to purchase my own copy of the complete series. The price was reasonable, making it a great addition to my collection.
