I was intrigued by the fact that this movie is based on a true story. It captures the everyday struggles we face, like when our hot water tank bursts or our car won't start. Even small annoyances, like someone pushing past us in line without saying excuse me, can add to our frustrations. And when we're already feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms and left with a bad cough, it's easy to wonder why things aren't going smoothly.
This story humbles us and makes us question if we could endure such hardships for an extended period of time. The acting is good, the script is decent, and it provides a better history lesson than what we learned in school. I ended up buying three copies of this movie - two for people interested in Jewish history and one for someone who appreciates Daniel Craig's talent.
I watched this movie with my husband and we both rated it a 7 out of 10. Plus, it was cheaper than buying it at Tesco!
