It's a perfect Sunday afternoon with the door open to the garden, and raindrops are creating beautiful prisms of light in the room. The neighbors are enjoying the new versions of classic albums, and everything feels right in the world. These albums showcase Kate's unique style, blending loud and soft elements in a wonderful way. The bass sounds particularly great, adding depth to each track. The updated version of "The Sensual World (Flowers of the Mountain)" has a warmer sound compared to the original, while "Never be mine" remains intriguing as ever. Additionally, the packaging is luxurious. Personally, I find that the analog mix provides a warmer sound compared to the colder digital originals. Overall, it's a stunning experience!

I just wanted to mention that some of the negative reviews on here seem a bit unfair. This triple disc version includes one disc of reinterpretations, as well as remastered versions of the original albums. Kate decided to try something different and released this boxset to showcase both the originals with improved sound quality and her reinterpretations as an older artist. It's a thoughtful approach and offers good value for money, even if you're not interested in the new versions. Personally, I didn't own 'The Red Shoes' before and I agree with Kate that 'The Sensual World' had flat sound. So, I'm really pleased with these remasters.
