There's nothing quite like watching a classic black and white film from the 50's or 60's to get a glimpse of what places like London were like back then. "Double Exposure" is a captivating 60-minute film that keeps you on your toes with its unexpected twists and turns. The story starts off with a find the lady game, but soon enough, private detective Pete Fleming (played by John Bentley) begins to suspect that something has changed. As any good detective would do, Fleming starts questioning why and the plot unfolds from there. I won't give away any spoilers, but I can assure you that this 1953 B drama offers an enjoyable viewing experience. Plus, at just an hour long, it doesn't drag on unnecessarily.
I absolutely love this British B film, and luckily, this version includes all the scenes. If you had watched it on TV, you missed out on a good 5 minutes. The story in this complete copy is easy to understand, and the additional scenes add clarity to the overall plot. Furthermore, the picture quality is outstanding - the best I've seen for this film. If you're a fan of Rona Anderson and John Bentley, then you'll definitely enjoy watching this movie.
