The EYE in the SKY theatricals and drama of a single (later a second) drone strike decision is effectively portrayed in the lengthy film. However, it highlights the hypocritical political moral conscience surrounding such actions. In truth, both Britain and America lack morality when making invasive war decisions or taking action. This was recently exemplified by Prime Minister Johnson and most Con. MPs attempting to pass a law granting British troops immunity for war crimes and torture. Thankfully, the House of Lords overturned this bill, holding Johnson accountable. It is clear that morality, conscience, and war rarely align with one another.
A typical action movie with solid performances and a screenplay that reflects current events. Helen Mitten's performance is the standout, holding the film together.
Reviewing this movie without revealing too much of the plot is challenging, as it could potentially spoil the experience. However, I highly recommend it to my son and others, as an army padre suggested it for its portrayal of decision making and following orders in the military. The film also addresses the debate surrounding prioritizing technology over human involvement. With a fantastic cast, this thought-provoking movie effectively tackles real-world work-related issues.
