This music documentary/film is absolutely fantastic! It's incredibly entertaining, informative, and easily one of the best I've seen in a long time.
It's great to learn more about Fela. I will definitely recommend it. I was pleasantly surprised that Mrs took the time to watch the whole documentary and enjoyed gaining a deeper understanding of the legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Fela truly is an extraordinary figure!
A brilliant exploration of Fela Kuti's genius. As a longtime fan with all his albums, I was amazed by the insights this film provided into the background behind his music and unconventional lifestyle. The movie is filled with captivating archive footage and interviews with collaborators and family members. It is a must-watch for any Fela fan. Don't forget to check out the added features where former managers share hilarious stories of their business meetings with Fela in his speedos, surrounded by his eccentric entourage. If you thought you knew Fela, think again - this documentary is a game-changer. It's easily one of the best documentaries I've seen since 'When we were Kings'. Highly recommend!
