The photography in this latest BBC wildlife series is absolutely stunning. The use of new aerial filming techniques, high definition, ultra slow motion, and 5.1 surround sound creates a breathtaking viewing experience. It is definitely a must-have addition to any BBC wildlife series collection. Kudos to the BBC for maintaining their high standards and receiving global recognition.
However, I can only give it 4 stars out of 5 due to some issues with the Blue Ray DVD version. The DVD takes a while to start up and has audio navigation that can be annoying if you don't need it. Navigating through the menu is also slow, but eventually gets you to the part where you can finally play the episode. It almost makes me miss the simplicity of video tapes where all you had to do was press "play" and it would start right away!
