I have extensive knowledge about this battle from various books. While the DVD effectively captures the intensity and provides detailed accounts of two significant events, it lacks in providing a comprehensive overview of the entire battle. It is advisable to conduct thorough research beforehand if you seek more than just entertainment value.
I didn't have much knowledge about this particular part of history, so I was hoping that this lengthy film would provide a comprehensive coverage. Overall, it was a captivating and intense movie with epic battle scenes that evoked strong emotions. However, there were still some aspects of the events that I couldn't fully grasp despite the film's duration. For instance, I was curious about Stewart's absence and his delayed arrival. Although Lee reprimands him without offering any explanations, as a viewer, it would have been satisfying to understand the reasons behind it. Nevertheless, if you are interested in this subject matter and have the time to spare, I recommend giving it a watch.
