Gimme Danger [DVD]

I was really excited for this, but like others have mentioned in their reviews, it's a bit boring and doesn't offer anything new for die-hard Stooges fans. It has a similar format and style to Julien Temple's 'The Filth And The Fury', so it would have been awesome to see some interviews with people like Scott Thurston or Wayne Kramer who are not typically associated with the band. Jarmusch's production feels low energy for such a high-energy band.

However, if the Stooges aren't your cup of tea, then this might not be for you. The music is energetic and often loud. Despite Iggy's wild past and drug use, he remains surprisingly charming and articulate in interviews. He not only survived but also gifted the world with truly exceptional music, finally receiving the recognition they rightfully deserved."
