I recently purchased my first Deep Purple album in a while and got it at a great price. I was planning to attend their concert and wanted to familiarize myself with their current sound, and I must say, they did not disappoint. Despite the band's long history, they can still rock with the best of them. While this may not be their strongest album, I discovered enough enjoyable songs and impressive musicianship to reignite my love for their music before experiencing an incredible live performance – one of the best shows I've seen in years.
