The film was enjoyable, although not quite as good as the first one (as sequels often aren't). I appreciated that it didn't feature the big red demon from the first film (I'm not a fan of demons), but I wanted to watch it because I saw the trailer for the third installment and it looks really creepy. Overall, I would recommend this film to Insidious fans - you probably won't be too disappointed.
I was excited to see the same cast returning for the next installment after being curious about what would happen next since watching the first film. I was pleasantly surprised that Ty had not grown taller or changed significantly, considering there was a two-year gap between the two films. Once again, there were intriguing twists and connections to the events of the first film that I really enjoyed. Everything fell into place in a peculiar yet satisfying manner. The family in the story went through a tumultuous period, but thankfully it was all just fiction!
I wasn't really into it because it became repetitive and dull. The constant walking around the house and abandoned hospital, with only a few jump scares, became too monotonous for my taste. However, I still managed to finish it.
