Witnessing someone conquer their fears allowed me to reframe my own situation and ultimately aided in my recovery. This film has had a lasting impact on me, prompting me to purchase multiple copies to share with others who may benefit from witnessing the awe-inspiring journey of a French tightrope walker defying gravity. Without giving away any plot details, I appreciate how the film presents a well-rounded portrayal of Petit - acknowledging his flaws while emphasizing that he is just an ordinary man. This realization resonates with me as it reminds me that if he can overcome his mental barriers, so can I. Thank you, Philipe; your story has touched my heart. And thank you to the director for creating such a transformative documentary. In my opinion, this film deserves a perfect rating of 10/10 and holds a special place among my top ten all-time favorite films.
