When discussing Barbet Schroder's first two movies, "More" and "The Valley," the focus is often on their association with Pink Floyd. While I appreciate the band's excellent musical contributions to these films, there is much more to enjoy beyond that aspect. Personally, I found this film to be captivating. The acting feels natural and believable, the locations are beautifully captured on camera, and the portrayal of a descent into drug use is well-executed. One scene that particularly stood out to me was the Don Quixote windmill scene, which added depth to the story. Mimsy Farmer's performance was outstanding and she looked stunning as well. Although I preferred the ambiguity of "The Valley," I still believe this film offers a fascinating exploration of the demise of the hippy dream and is definitely worth your time.
