I absolutely adore this collection of songs! It's a fantastic compilation that introduced me to some new favorites. I keep it in my car and listen to it frequently, singing along with every track.
I was thrilled to discover the Cranberries' latest album, "Something Else". As a fan of their anthems like "Linger" and "Zombie", I was instantly drawn to this acoustic take on their classic hits. After listening to it, I can confidently say that it's a win-win situation. The softer approach in the acoustic recordings adds a new dimension to their music, while Dolores O'Riordan's vocals have matured beautifully. The stripped-down version of "Zombie" is particularly appealing and unique. Overall, I would give "Something Else" four out of five stars because it feels more like a new comeback for the band rather than the end of the road. Unfortunately, with the passing of Dolores O'Riordan on January 15th, 2018, it truly marks the end of an era for the Cranberries. Rest in peace Dolores O'Riordan.
