I have always been a fan of Camel and have had the opportunity to see them perform live. In my opinion, they are the best band out there and their music is incredibly enjoyable to listen to.
Camel experienced a significant change, leading to the last remaining member collaborating with a diverse group of friends. Unfortunately, this resulted in an album that lacks the distinct qualities that have always made Camel exceptional - focus, cohesion, warmth, and texture. The album includes a few catchy tracks and some lightweight rockers, but also features vocals that don't align with Camel's style. Only two songs - Sasquatch and Selva - stand out as deserving of repeated listening. Overall, the rest of the album is average at best and can be considered their weakest release to date.
