I devoured this book in one day. It's the volume where the main character finally gains confidence, and it builds up to that moment brilliantly. The pacing, art style, and writing are all done perfectly in this book. It doesn't shy away from providing detailed explanations for things that might confuse readers. Overall, I highly recommend this series for anyone looking for a good read. The TV series is also worth checking out, although it does have some differences from the manga - which is actually why I decided to get the manga after watching it.
This is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the original Tokyo Ghoul series, captivating readers from start to finish. It stands out as the most action-packed and captivating installment in the entire series, leaving readers in awe. I highly recommend purchasing this book only if you have read the previous six, as it delves deeper into the story and lore.
The manga is truly incredible, with an amazing build-up leading to this point. The panels in this scene give me literal chills.
