I recommend using the EAP225 and EAP245 in a wireless mesh network, while using the EAP660 at home. When testing WiFi speeds with a WiFi6 capable phone (OnePlus 9) right next to the access point (AP), I found that the speeds were slightly better compared to the EAP245. However, considering its price of £260 compared to the EAP245 priced at £90, I don't believe it is worth the extra cost.
The EAP245 provides speeds of approximately 450mbps in local LAN tests, while the EAP660 offers speeds ranging from 400-600mbps when used with a 2x2 WiFi 6 smartphone. It's important to note that currently, the EAP660 does not support wireless mesh functionality, although it is planned for future updates. If you require mesh support, it would be best to avoid this model for now and consider the EAP610 which already has mesh capabilities.
In my opinion, unless you have multiple WiFi6 devices at home and specifically need slightly faster speeds (which only makes sense if you have fast broadband or a local NAS), I do not recommend purchasing this AP. Instead, you can opt for three units of the more affordable EAP245 for around the same price. This comparison makes choosing between them pointless as they offer similar performance at a lower cost.
