This 2-disc set includes the ultimate cut, making it a must-have for fans. In my opinion, Zack Snyder's masterpiece stands as one of the greatest DC movies ever made!
I really enjoyed the cinematic release of the standard version a few years ago. Many reviews have already highlighted its strengths as a gritty and violent take on the superhero/comic-book-to-movie genre. With the new series coming, we decided to watch the extreme 'Ultimate Cut'. The original film is not short at 162 minutes, but this version extends it to an impressive 215 minutes! Despite its lengthy runtime, the film never felt slow or boring and maintained the same level of engagement and detail as the original. It's a great looking film that doesn't spoil or drag things out unnecessarily. If you loved the original, I highly recommend giving the Ultimate Cut a watch.
