Overview of the Bachmann Cable Switch 924048

The Bachmann Cable Switch 924048 is a compact, single‑pole electrical switch designed for direct mounting in residential and commercial wiring systems. It offers reliable operation at up to 6 A and a nominal voltage of 250 V, making it suitable for a wide range of low‑voltage applications.

Key Design Features

Switch Type and Operation

This model is a schnurschalter (cord switch) featuring a simple wippe (lever or rocker) action. The lever provides tactile feedback, allowing users to easily toggle the circuit on or off with a single motion.

Material and Finish

The switch body is constructed from high‑quality plastic (Kunststoff), ensuring durability while keeping weight low. Its surface finish is described as frosted or matte in several languages, giving it a subtle, non‑glossy appearance that resists fingerprints and smudges.

Color and Aesthetic Compatibility

The device comes in a clean, neutral white (RAL 9010) color. This choice ensures seamless integration with most interior décor styles, from modern minimalist to traditional settings.

Electrical Specifications

• Rated Current: 6 A
