The Streacom DB4 is a masterpiece of monolithic design, featuring a robust basic framework surrounded by four removable outer plates made of extruded aluminium with a sand-blasted surface. These stunning aluminium panels not only look innovative, but also serve as a convection surface, fulfilling their function as a heat sink for the processor installed inside. The processor is connected to an external plate via a flexible lockable universal CPU cooler that uses three of the four original copper heatpipes for effective heat dissipation. Additionally, a further LH6 heatpipe kit with three additional heatpipes is used to make contact with another outer plate, increasing the cooling capacity from 65 watts to 110 watts.
