Life on Earth

These documentaries can only be described as 'excellent'. The only minor criticism I have is that there could be less background music and more authentic sounds from the locations, or alternatively, more of their skillfully recreated 'natural sounds'. David Attenborough's work is so exceptional that it doesn't require excessive emotional enhancement through music, except for opening and closing scenes and possibly setting the scene.

This series is truly one of the best ever made. Despite being produced in the late 70s, the content and attention to detail are absolutely remarkable. Attenborough's expertise as a naturalist shines through brilliantly, offering profound insights.

This comment expresses admiration for Attenborough's communication skills and reflects on the regret of not having pursued interests in evolutionary biology and cosmology earlier in life.
