Those familiar with rural life will understand the relationship issues between these two brothers, who are dealing with an unexpected inheritance and the challenges of working with livestock during difficult times. Although this film is not a travelogue for Iceland, it does have comedic moments. However, it primarily tells a bleak and unforgiving story. The performances of the main characters are exceptional, making it worth watching.
This film is not meant to be funny, but it is definitely worth watching. It portrays a tragic story that is both human and real. While comedy and tragedy are closely related, this film falls more into the category of tragedy. I appreciate its charm and authenticity, but it should not be mistaken for a comedy. If you watch it, be prepared for an emotional experience rather than laughter.
