Blues

"Blues" was released in what would have been the 50th year of Rory Gallagher's recording career. It explores Rory's love for the blues throughout his solo career from 1971 to 1994. The album features rare and unreleased recordings of Rory playing his favorite blues material, taken from the tape archive of the Gallagher estate. It includes a wide range of tracks, from those that have never been heard before to special guest sessions with legendary blues artists such as Muddy Waters and Albert King, as well as lost radio sessions.
